AN ESSAY ABOUT PROPAGANDA, ILLUSTRATIONS AND A FREE AMERICA

Isn't it odd how society can change images through education. For example, when attending elementary school, many of our books illustrated men smoking pipes. They were usually the kind, grandfatherly type and often pictured with their grandchildren or children. Now, 60 years later, the non-smoking advocates in government positions have decided that smokers are deviant beings who are determined to foul the environment, thus making them a negative part of our populace. Now, one never sees reality in textbooks or advertisements illustrating pipe-smoking men.

As a pipe smoker since I was 12, I have seen this movement evolve. Now, when enjoying a pipe at a park with my grandchildren, other children passing by will stare at me as though I were a troll; some point and comment to their guardians. I am, in their eyes, a criminal because I am smoking. This is an example of how education can use propaganda to ruin the character of members of the population.

I am waiting to see a textbook illustrating citizens shooting up with needles in public parks. Yes, I am waiting for illustrations of how gangsters and thugs go about intimidating those in Central Park or on the streets. I am waiting for illustrations of events where beer is being served to create negative attitudes about Americans enjoying a cold beer.

This is how the socialists sitting in their cubicles will demonize those celebrating 4th of July celebrations, Christian holidays and free enterprise. Yes, illustrations can definitely effect the ideas of young children. It all depends on who is a socialist and who is one who wants this wonderful nation of democracy and free enterprise to fail.

President Ronald Reagan

Some of my best memories of the America I will always love and respect for honesty, truth and respect from the world. We didn't have to apologize for our great deeds then, we had a President who believed in exceptionalism of America.

What a sad difference 30 years makes in the life of a nation.

[edit] Program summary[edit] 1994-1998In 1994, Michael Savage (then publishing under his real name Michael Weiner) submitted for publication a manuscript called Immigrants and Epidemics. The proposed book, which was about the influx of foreign diseases due to the wave of illegal immigrants, was promptly rejected for what Savage contends was its politically incorrect subject matter. This, along with the suggestions of friends and acquaintances, inspired Savage to record a radio demo about the very subject of his manuscript. He mailed the tape to 250 radio stations, and on March 21, 1994, The Savage Nation was born on KGO in San Francisco.

Savage's radio career began modestly enough as a fill-in host for Ray Taliaferro. But as his popularity in the Bay Area grew, sister station KSFO took notice and gave him his own show less than a year after his inception in broadcasting.

At the time, his slogan was "To the right of Rush and to the left of God." On January 1, 1995, he was given his own show during the drive-time hours. The show quickly became a local hit. During his time at KSFO, Savage soared to #1 in Arbitron ratings among both adult men and women over 18 during afternoon drive-time in San Francisco and became top talk host in his timeslot in Northern California.[2]

[edit] 1999-2003In 1999, he came to the attention of the Talk Radio Network.

On January 17, 2000, he started doing an additional two hours of radio which was broadcast nationally. His national experiment was a success, and, on September 21, 2000, he stopped doing separate shows, beginning a full three-hour national show The Savage Nation. After one year, he was in 150 markets. By 2003, he was in more than 200 markets.[citation needed] Savage's fill-in guest hosts include former U.S. congressman "B-1" Bob Dornan, Rick Roberts, Mancow, and Peter Weisbach. Talk radio host Lars Larson is also a former guest host, although his show now directly competes with The Savage Nation.

[edit] 2003-presentIn June 2003, he had a salary dispute with his flagship station KSFO, which refused to renegotiate his contract. He was off the air in San Francisco for three weeks. On July 1, 2003 he began his show on a different station: KNEW in San Francisco.

As of 2009[update], Savage has 8-10 million listeners per week, making his show the third most widely heard broadcast in the United States.[3] Savage calls his listeners "literate callers with intelligence, wit, and energy." He says that he tries to make a show that has a "...hard edge combined with humor and education...Those who listen to me say they hear a bit of Plato, Henry Miller, Jack Kerouac, Moses, Jesus, and Frankenstein."[2]

Savage was named the 2007 recipient of Talkers Magazine’s Freedom of Speech Award. According to Talkers Magazine, Savage was honored "for being the first major conservative radio talk show host to criticize President George W. Bush on his policies and encourage hosts of all political ideologies to remain independent of partisan loyalties.”[4] Previous recipients of the Freedom of Speech Award include Howard Stern and Rush Limbaugh.

The Savage Nation was removed from KNEW's schedule on September 10, 2009.[5] It was later picked up by sports station KTRB, but that agreement ended when Comerica Bank foreclosed on the station. Savage advised listeners that the show can be heard in the Bay Area via Sacramento-area KSTE.[6]

Savage filed a lawsuit in an attempt to break from his contract, which, though it expired at the end of 2010, contained clauses that granted Talk Radio Network the right to match any offer in perpetuity.[7]

[edit] FormatEach hour of the daily three-hour broadcast usually begins with a monologue by Savage. Being a political commentator by trade, he often discusses issues in American politics and society in general. Many times, this leads to a passionate diatribe by Savage, a staple of The Savage Nation. Savage often takes calls in the second segment to comment on what was discussed in the previous segment.

Guests have traditionally been a rare occurrence, but they have become more frequent since 2007. As of 2009, the entire third hour of most shows is now devoted to pre-taped interviews with guests.

[edit] ControversyIn 2007, Supertalk Mississippi removed Savage Nation from its programming because of negative comments.[8][9]

Music is an integral part of The Savage Nation. Savage often extends the role of music beyond bumper music to be as much the content of the show as what he's talking about. (For instance, there was a period of several days in 2006 when Savage played "Living on a Thin Line" by The Kinks concurrent with his discussions of America's internal vulnerabilities.)

Savage often closes the show by saying, "With God's will and your listenership, I shall return," or some variation thereof.

He also played "God Save the Queen" by the Sex Pistols and "Living on a Thin Line" and agreeing that "there's no England now" after being banned from the U.K. by British Home Secretary Jacqui Smith.

The signature musical introduction to The Savage Nation is the beginning of Metallica's "Master of Puppets" followed by an announcer saying, "Warning: The Michael Savage Show contains adult language, adult content, psychological nudity. Listener discretion is advised." This is followed by Mötley Crüe's "Looks that Kill" and Metallica's "The Shortest Straw" to conclude the introduction.

For bumper music, Savage has used "Eye of the Beholder", "Frayed Ends of Sanity", "Holier Than Thou", "Jump in the Fire", "To Live Is to Die", "Battery", "Blackened", "Sad But True", "Ain't My Bitch", "Fuel", and "The Shortest Straw" by Metallica, as well as "Du Hast" and "Tier" by Rammstein, Nirvana, "Big Gun" by AC/DC, and "Killing in the Name" by Rage Against the Machine.

While Savage has previously criticized pop culture on his program, he says that he is a rock music fan. On his July 19, 2006 show, Savage said that he is a huge fan of the German group Rammstein and that he often drives around at night blasting their music. When challenged by a caller to explain why he likes Rammstein, Savage said that they are "the only true form of poetry and music that reflect the real world nowadays." Savage played their music at length during that specific broadcast. Savage is also a fan of 1950s rock 'n' roll and doo-wop music such as The Cadillacs, Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers, and The Flamingos which is played on his "Rock and Roll Friday." On January 25, 2007, he started playing "I'm Broken" by Pantera on his show, stating that this is the type of music that U.S. troops should be listening to in Iraq.

On Mondays, he frequently opens the program by playing "Blue Monday" by Fats Domino.

FREE TO WEAR PINK BIKINIS IN USA

FREE TO WEAR A PINK BIKINI EVERY DAY

By Robert L. Huffstutter

In this area of bitter partisan politics and Socialist-Communist demonstrations by those who have the entitlement mindset, it is refreshing to think about the life of leisure that so often invades our daydreams.

It is not shameful to take mind trips to that favorite resort you enjoyed so many years ago, or even as near as last spring. There is no cause to feel like you do not deserve time away from the daily grind now and then. No, as one who lives in the world's most independently diverse and freedom-loving nation combined, it is your choice. Your choice is what democracy is all about. So, as silly as it might seem on the surface, as shallow as some might want to make it, the right to wear a pink bikini everyday is truly a freedom to be cherished.

But of course, it is not the ambition of everyone, no. The thought of lounging about in a sensual and fashionable swim outfit is not a thought shared by all. This is understood and certainly as it should be. Imagine a nation of bikini-clad individuals hanging out by the poolside day after day; it is hard to imagine. This is why I have taken the time to include a short work of ideological text to accompany the subject matter of this blog.

Nevertheless, the crux of our freedom of choice might well be founded on the right to wear what one chooses to wear. While we are taking care to be more politically aware of the rights of all, let us not ignore our basic rights, our rights guaranteed by our Bill of Rights. Thus, the right to wear a pink bikini everyday remains a fundamental freedom for each and every individual who is a mature adult. It is all a matter of choice.

This is just a thought, but why doesn't a bikini manufacturer drop off a few hundred bikinis at the nearest demonstration to liven up the event. Oh, I forgot about the color red--they would probably want red bikinis. Remember when Communism was once associated with the color red? Red China, "better dead than red" and a dozen other references. Time flys.

"You're Never Too Young To Start"

The sooner we learn about the 2nd Amemdment, the stronger our nation will become. One thing the SECOND AMENDMENT INSURES, is a revolution by the Communists who hate freedom. Most of them also hate guns too, so they will simply have to learn how to live with freedom or immigrate to s socialist or Communist nation. The sooner the better. Thanks to MORGANSHEV for a photograph that exercises the mind.

...enemies, foreign and domestic...Does this mean we have enemies that are domestic? Who are they? Make a list of who you might think they are. Don't post it, but keep an eye on those you suspect are domestic enemies, a kind of logbook...

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT and some of those enemies are in very high positions...Have you read Michael Savage's book,THE ENEMY WITHIN?

Have you read LT-COL Ralph Peter's ENDLESS WAR?

Did you know that it has always been the goal of the COMMUNISTS and SOVIET-STYLE SOCIALISTS to undermine our government by elected officials within the government? You must surely realize why some officials turn pale when they recall the days of the McCarthy Hearings, trying to make sure such hearing NEVER NEVER EVER EVER happen again. Ha ha.........I think we are on the same wave-length, old enough and wise enough to see through all of this faux PC and ENVIRONMENTAL BS authored by Executive Order rather than passed through NORMAL legislation.

WE WILL ALWAYS HAVE EVIL PRESENT AS WE WILL ALWAYS HAVE GOOD PRESENT

GOOD AND EVIL HAS BEEN THE SUBJECT OF PHILOSOPHY AND RELIGION SINCE HUMANS APPEARED

My hopes are for a democratic Iran. It is a crime that one of the oldest nations in history, one of the cornerstones of civilization and knowledge is now in the hands of men who want to crush the spirit of education and knowledge. I believe that if Iran was governed by an intelligent and freedom-loving people like your group, Iran would become another center for students throughout the world, thousands interested in Iran's great contributions to the world before it became a nation opressed by men whose ideologies were those of tyrannical control.

REFLECTIONS IN A VINEYARD

REFLECTIONS IN A VINEYARD: Some Thoughts About Our Constitution; Should It or Could It Be Changed?

President Obama has pointed out that the Constitution is basically a document that is about "what the government doesn't do or cannot do for you or to you."

In the same speech, he mentions that the Constitution is "...not a document that outlines what the Government can do for you or to you." The above is to paraphrase what President Obama said; I am looking for his exact words on the subject. Since hearing him describe the Constitution in those terms, I have been searching my mind for his reasons for mentioning the subject. It is, for certain, one interesting subject and one that all Americans might want to ponder.

While the President is enjoying a well-deserved vacation at Martha's Vineyard, I am going to visit a few vineyards wherever I might happen to be at any given moment.

There are many vineyards in California and a good number in Missouri. The wine from either of the states can be sweet or bitter depending upon one's preferences. I have a small book, an old Penguin book I purchased many years ago, that includes the Constitution and thousands of footnotes in reference to the many folks who have had different views that had to be settled, once and for all.

Well, some haven't really been settled "once and for all." That's the scarry aspect to Constitutional law. Mr. Obama, if I remember correctly, was a student in Constitutional Law, thus I feel confident he knows much more about the law that governs this great nation than I have learned. However, one great fact about the Constitution is that it's basically a simple and easy-to-read document. It is the kind of document, in my opinion, that is strikingly straightforward without room for imagination to fill the spaces between the lines.

That is the great feature about the Constitution that has made these United States the greatest Democracy on earth, a fact I know President Obama realizes. That he has taken the Presidential oath to preserve this document and protect it, and the people, from all enemies, foreign and domestic, gives me assurance that he will make the right decisions. In this respect, the Constitution is a very basic document; it leaves no room for doubt about who is for us and who is against us.

Having visited vineyards at various times during my lifetime, I know that there are places where one can reflect and rest in the shade, little areas where one might want to simply take time out, not for wine, but for some serious consideration about what our nation is going to be in ten years, in twenty years, or one-hundred years from now. If I had my life to repeat, I might have selected Constitutional Law as my academic specialty.

Until recently, I had never considered how interesting the Consitution can be when one begins an attempt to try to understand it more clearly. In this respect, President Obama has added new inspiration for millions of Americans of all ages to be more aware of our Constitution.

And for our youth who have yet to make their decision about their future, one can fairly assume that many new students will be enrolling in Constitutional Law courses

ObamaCare Is A Crime
"ObamaCare" is a Scam!
Ad Verbera

Currently, I do not have health insurance, and, quite frankly, I don't give a shit. I'm young, fairly healthy, and not very likely to need a lot of medical services.

If I need to go to the doctor, I just go to the doctor. The visit costs under $100, which usually entails giving up a night of sushi, sake, and a movie with the girlfriend. Of course, if I'm sick, I'm more than likely inclined to stay home anyway, and the problem of cost solves itself.

And if I need a prescription, I get it filled at Wal-Mart (yes.... Wal-Mart..) for less then the cost of a co-payment that a patient would make through his or her HMO for the same drug.

Do I really need health insurance? Probably not.

If I really wanted health insurance, I could get it. A plan would cost me about $100 a month, and based on the quotes I've gotten before, it would cost me even less than that. Again, if I wanted the insurance, and felt it was a priority, I could actually afford it. I'd simply have to sacrifice going out about one night a month.

If I can afford it now (with a little sacrifice...) then why don't I just get an insurance plan? There's a couple of reasons why I don't.

First, I'd be ripping myself off. If a doctor visit is about $100, but in a year's time, I've only gone once - for a check up, let's say - it will only cost me a Benjamin. But if I pay $100 a month for the same 12 month period, and visited the doctor's only the one time, I've basically overpaid $1,100 for the same visit. That's money I would've been better off spending elsewhere.

Secondly, if I'm paying into an insurance plan that I rarely use, how do I know that other people on the same plan are not using medical services more frequently than I am? I know, personally its none of my business what other people do, but I think it would be safe to assume that some people may be using medical services more frequently than others if it doesn't affect their wallet directly. So if an insurance company is there to defray those "out-of-pocket" costs, then it would be more than likely that medical services would be used frivolously. And since an insurance company does nothing more than pay for one's medical services through a pool of capital generated by a group of individuals paying a monthly premium, it would logically follow that insurance premiums would rise to compensate for the losses incurred from overly frivolous visits. If this causes my rate to go up another $20 a month, I'd not only be ripping myself off even further, but also allowing others to do so as well.

What is really bothersome about Obama's health care plan, is that he doesn't leave me the choice of being ripped off or not. Its simply government replacing the insurance companies, leaving me with no choice but to pay for a plan (via tax increases..) that I, in all likelihood, will rarely ever use, and in reality, will be paying for other people's frivolous use.

Obama thinks we're all stupid and do not have the ability to rationally think and take action in our own best interest. I find it insulting, and even more so that he wants to rip me off to prove his point. Who the fuck does he think he is, anyway? The fucking "Messiah"?

This only one of many reasons that I'm against Obama's health care plan. It has also become quite obvious that only those leaning towards supporting it are practicing intellectual sloth. They'd rather leave the most important decision making of their own lives up to others. Only two kinds of people support ObamaCare - the intellectually lazy, and the intellectually active who mistakenly believe they can make society better through the control of other people's money and lives.

Quite frankly, that's just fucking sick!

THE NEXT PRESIDENT?

Despite any rumors that might be circulating about running as a candidate for President in the next election, I hereby refute such rumors, at least temporarily. Due to the lack of the multi-million dollar entrance fees required, I, like millions of other qualified and spirited Americans who are totally qualified to become President, will have to deny myself this desire to enter public service at this point in time.

If and when I should receive the financial backing required, I will weigh my options carefully, possibly making further comments on national public radio or network or cable television. Let me further state that there is not a shadow of doubt in my mind that I would make a great President and would take my oath to protect and preserve the Constitution with sincere reverence and respect.

If I had to announce a campaign platform within the next five minutes, I am prepared. My campaign would be founded on the fact that less government is the better government and that as a government our main priority is promoting more freedom among the ciizens rather than less freedom.

My promise not to try and control the masses would be based on my confidence that Americans have reached the level where they realize that one's mind will only grow brighter with increased freedoms that will challenge their abilities to become independent of government control.

THERE IS SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT A SILVER DOLLAR

The date of 1922 is a date that should be well remembered. The men and women born in 1922 were only 19 when America was attacked in 1941. Within less than a year from the day the war started, our armed forces were filled with millions of men and women who were born in 1922 and the other years of the early 1920s. And there were millions more Americans who would continue joining, some born in years prior to the beginning of the 20th Century.

When America was attacked by another enemy on 11 September 2001, millions of men and women joined the Armed Services of the United States to combat the enemy. The new enemy, men without a nation , men who hate America for our freedoms of choice and who have vowed to destroy us, have not surrendered.

As there were Americans who did not wait for their nation to call them to duty in 1941 but joined en masse to defend our freedoms, there were those Americans who did not wait for a call to duty after the heinous and cowardly attack on our homeland on 11 September 2001.

American men and women have not changed their values, their hopes and their love of our nation since 7 December 1941. Although there is, for the most part, a totally different news media since World War Two, the men and women who have continued to serve in uniform are as dedicated now as they were then. And although many in our government have cowered to this loathsome and murderous enemy who murder the innocent, there are still those who believe our nation is worth fighting for; there are those who still believe in the same values we shared as a nation in 1941 and refuse to lay down our arms and surrender our freedom of speech and religion for the common agreement on some very subversive ideologies

SHADOWS AND SHAPES: CONTRAST IMAGES

THE SHADOW REMIND ME OF THE NOTRE DAME LOGO, SO I THOUGH ABOUT PRESIDENT OBAMA'S RECENT VISIT TO NOTRE DAME. HE DID NOT INVITE HIMSELF, LET US KEEP THIS FACT IN MIND. WHAT DO I THINK ABOUT HIS VISIT?

AS A LOYAL DEFENDER OF FREE SPEECH, I ADMIRE PRESIDENT OBAMA FOR ACCEPTING THE INVITE TO SPEAK AT NOTRE DAME. DESPITE THE OPPOSITION WHICH WAS REALLY NOTHING MORE THAN LIP SERVICE, HE DELIVERED A SPEECH THAT WAS APPROPRIATE AND WITHOUT CONTROVERSY.

WHEN THE PRESIDENT OF NOTRE DAME FIRST BEGAN HIS SPEECH, I FELT THAT PRESIDENT OBAMA WAS A BIT CONCERNED THAT HE WAS BEING "SET UP" FOR A SEVERE SCOLDING AND NOTICED HIS RELIEF WHEN THE UNIVERSITY PRESIDENT PRESENTED ALL LAURELS WITH NO THORNS.

I ADMIRE PRESIDENT OBAMA FOR ACCEPTING, SHOWING UP AND DELIVERING A MEMORABLE SPEECH THAT WILL BE NOTED IN HISTORY. GETTING TO KNOW HOW THE PRESIDENT THINKS, ONE CAN CLEARLY SEE THE REASONS FOR HIS SUCCESS IN ACHIEVING HIS GOAL TO BECOME PRESIDENT.

ALTHOUGH HE DOES NOT HAVE A TREMENDOUS TRACK RECORD, BEING SMART ENOUGH TO PLAN HOW TO BECOME PRESIDENT IS A MAMMOTH ACHIEVEMENT IN ITSELF. CONGRATS TO PRESIDENT OBAMA..............BY ROBERT L. HUFFSTUTTER

Champagne dist. German Prisoners receiving bread..

THIS IS ONE OF THE PHOTOS THAT SHOWS EXACTLY HOW STRONG THE GENES WERE IN THIS FAMILY.

COMPARE THIS PHOTO WITH NICHOLAS WHO....
WAS SLAIN BY THE BOLSHEVEIKS IN 1918 ALONG WITH HIS ENTIRE FAMILY. JUST ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF HOW PASSIONATE PEOPLE BECOME OVER POLITICS, FREEDOM AND GOVERNMENT.

IF ONE THINKS ABOUT THE SITUATION, ONE CAN PERCEIVE THAT THERE ARE SOME MEN WHO ARE BORN WITHOUT CONSCIENCE, WITHOUT SOUL, WITHOUT ANY LINK TO HUMANITY WITHIN THEIR MIND AND BODY. THAT THERE WERE MEN WILLING TO SHOOT AN ENTIRE FAMILY IN COLD BLOOD OVER AN ISSUE OF BIRTH IS BEYOND COMPREHENSION. WELL, NOT REALLY. IT HAPPENS TO AMERICANS EVERY DAY. HOMOCIDES, KILLINGS, MURDERS, DAY AFTER DAY, NOT OVER ROYALTY BUT OVER DRUGS, LOVE AFFAIRS, MONEY, ETC. BUT NOT ONLY MEN, WOMEN TOO ARE GUILTY OF THESE HEINOUS CRIMES. SO HOW COULD THEY HAVE SOLVED THE PROBLEM OF GETTING RID OF THE ROYALTY THEY COULD HAVE TAKEN THEM TO A SECRET ESTATE ON THE CRIMEA AND HELD THEM THROUGH THE FORCE OF A GARRISON AND LET THEM LIVE OUT THEIR NORMAL LIFETIME. THEY COULD HAVE EDUCATED THE CHILDREN AND SENT THEM OFF TO AMERICA WHEN THEY CAME OF AGE. OH, THESE ARE JUST PASSING THOUGHTS, IDEAS OF HOW SOME THINGS COULD BE SETTLED THROUGH A MORE CIVIL MEANS. WHO HAS THEANSWERS FOR THE TRAGEDIES OF WAR IT IS AS IF WE PLACED HERE AS GAMEPIECES FOR ENTERTAINMENT...AND THEN I RECALL WE WEREGIVEN THE POWER TO CHOOSE BETWEEN GOOD AND EVIL.......

When I was younger, I rarely noticed tall grasses or really much that had to do with flora, gardening or plants. Yes, the woods were great for hiking, the flowers and nature were all beautiful, but as time has passed, I have learned to appreciate so much more. This is, perhaps, a blessing of time; it could be a part of the growing up and growing older process, but there is so much beauty in that which sprouts from the ground we tread upon or around. Your photos reflect a great respect and love for your flowers and nature. Thanks for your comments on my erroroniously tagged plants. I do love both cannas and hastas.

TRIBUTE TO VAN GOGH THROUGH DOORWAY

This is one of my best photos.................. I love van gogh and marvel at his talent. His thoughstream must have looked a lot like his paintings. Has anyone ever researched the idea that he was one of the types like the rainman in his talents? One thing that is evident but not mentioned too often is his multi-styles. Rob

QUIK TRIP: AMERICA'S FAVORITE GAS STATION

THROUGHOUT THE YEARS, AMERICA HAS HAD FAVORITE SPOTS AND FAVORITE PLACES FOR A LITTLE OF THIS AND A LITTLE OF THAT. IN TODAY'S FAST-PACED LIFESTYLE, AMERICANS SEEM TO LINGER A BIT AT QUIK TRIP. I HAVE NOTICED THAT SOME PEOPLE ACTUALLY BREATHE A SIGH OF RELIEF WHEN THEY ENTER THE STORE. WHY NOT? IT IS TIME FOR A BREAK, TIME FOR A FAVORITE MIX YOUR OWN CONCOCTION OF SOFT DRINKS, FIX UP A FANCY COFFEE WITH A MYRIAD BLEND OF FLAVORS. AND THERE'S THE FOOD: GREAT HOT DOGS AND BRATS, SOME ANGUS BURGERS (I TRIED MY FIRST ONE THE OTHER DAY AND IT WAS TOTALLY DELICIOUS). SPRINKLY DONUTS FOR THE GRANDCHILDREN KEEP ME SAVING FOR THEIR TREATS. THE BROWNIES ARE ADDICTIVE. SERIOUSLY, THE BEST BROWNIE IN THE USA. WHAT;S MORE, I HAVE NOTED THAT THERE IS HARDLY EVER A GRUFF WORD HEARD IN A QT; THE CLERKS ARE PERSONAL AND FAST. YOU MUST BE FAST. THEY ARE TOTALLY FAST AT CHECKING ONE OUT. THEY KEEP THEIR COOL. THEY CHECK LOTTERY TICKETS. THEY CHECK IDs. THEY ARE FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. AND LIFE GOES ON, HAPPILY AS EVER, ESPECIALLY AFTER A FEW MINUTES AT A QUIK TRIP. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE FINE EMPLOYEES WHO WORK AT ONE OF AMERICA'S FAVORITE GAS STATIONS. ROBERT L. HUFFSTUTTER
